PKmud Builder Info


A DikuMUD area is a text file consisting of information describing the world, creatures, and objects contained in that region. PKmud zone files are very similar to MERC zone files, although some sections have been altered as the majority of the world does not require as much detail as a PvE oriented game.

The following links describe how to create each section of a zone.

The bottom of an area must always have "#$" to denote the end of the area file.

In all files, strings are terminated with the tilde (~) character. This character may not be in the middle of a string.
